How to Save Document

When you work any types of documents, be it a simple notepad document, a word document, an open office writer, an excel document, image, or power point, it is necessary to save the documents frequently because in case of some problems with your system or power failure, your entire work and efforts will go waste. When you are saving a new document, that is, for the first time, you should save the document in the original type of document format, say for example, doc format, odt format, jpg format or xls format depending upon the system you are using.

For saving the document, there are two ways: one through the toolbar and another through the keyboard. You can go to File and use the command Save or Save As. Alternatively, you can save the document in the existing format by pressing control and S key simultaneously. In fact, while working, you should keep on using the command ctrl+s, regularly, which ensures that you are saving your document and of course, lots of time and hard work spent behind the document.
