Notepad or simple text files are generally saved with an extension .txt and are suitable for use on the most basic DOS operating system. For many people who have learned computers on their own without any formal training often find it hard when it comes to working with notepad or saving files as notepad or .txt extension because they are most of the time used to saving files as .doc or .docx extension.

Well, How to Save Notepad is not all a rocket science and it requires very few and easy-to-understand steps. However, you must keep in mind that when you save any files created in notepad, by default the program will save it with .txt extension, which could create serious problems while uploading the files through FTP.
